ABOUT VINCE

Vince Lau is a tattoo artist based in Calgary, specializing in illustrative, Japanese-inspired tattoos, black & grey, and ornamental tattoos. His passion for tattooing began early, sparked by the book Tattoo World by Michael Kaplan, and years of drawing that shaped his artistic style.

In 2021, Vince left his engineering technologist career to pursue tattooing full-time, making his lifelong passion into a profession. Today, he is known for doing custom tattoos that naturally flow with the body and bringing clients' ideas to life in detail, creativity, and personal meaning.

When not tattooing, Vince likes reading manga, golfing, spending time with his bull terrier, and catching up with friends and family.

Whether it is the very first tattoo or just one more for your collection, Vince always strives to make it a comfortable, creative, and a memorable process.
