TATTOO PREPARATION

Maximize comfort and results with these easy preparations before your appointment.

  • We want to make sure your tattoo experience is as smooth and comfortable as possible. Please take a few minutes to read through the following before your appointment.

    🔞 You Must Be 18+

We do not tattoo anyone under 18 — even with parental consent. Please bring valid government-issued photo ID.

    ⚕️ Health & Medical Info

Please let us know before your appointment if:

    • You have any medical conditions (e.g. diabetes, epilepsy, heart issues, immune disorders).

    • You are on medications such as blood thinners, Accutane, Retin-A, or anything that may affect healing.

    • You have allergies (e.g. to latex, soaps, pigment, or adhesives).

    • You have skin issues (e.g. rashes, eczema, sunburn, or infection) near the area to be tattooed.

🚫 We Cannot Tattoo You If You Are:

    • Pregnant or nursing

    • Under the influence of drugs or alcohol

    • Actively sick (cold, flu, infection) — if you feel unwell, please let us know as soon as possible so we can reschedule.

    💊 Medications to Avoid

Avoid taking blood-thinning medications such as Advil, Aspirin, or high doses of Vitamin A for at least four (4) days before your appointment unless prescribed by your doctor.

    • Let us know if there’s anything we should be aware of — e.g. if it’s your first tattoo, you’re nervous, prefer a quiet session, have chronic pain or limited mobility, etc.

    • Avoid tanning the area to be tattooed. Fresh tans can cause extra pain, sensitivity, and healing complications.

    • Get a good night’s sleep beforehand. Tattoo sessions can be physically and mentally demanding.

    • Shower and take care of hygiene before your appointment. Expect some sweating during longer sessions.

    • Eat a full meal before you arrive and stay hydrated. This helps with endurance, energy, and pain management.

    • Wear suitable clothing. Choose something that allows easy access to the tattoo area and that you wouldn’t mind getting ink on. White or delicate items are not recommended.

    • Bring a towel or sweater for warmth or extra coverage if needed.

    👜 What to Bring

    • Drinks, snacks, or even a full meal for break time.

    • Headphones, books, or anything to help pass time during longer sessions.

    • Payment: We accept cash or e-transfer only — no cards.

    🚪 When You Arrive

    • Please come alone. Due to space and privacy, we do not allow guests or visitors during your session.

    • No outdoor shoes inside the studio. Slippers will be provided, or feel free to bring your own clean pair.

    🎨 Design & Healing Expectations

    • Every tattoo heals differently. Color, detail, and sharpness can vary depending on your skin type, tone, texture, and how your body heals.

    • Tattoos are permanent and may not match digital designs or reference photos exactly — this is part of the nature of working with living skin.

    • You’ll be given full aftercare instructions at the end of your appointment. Following them is essential to ensure proper healing and long-term quality.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out before your session. We look forward to tattooing you and giving you the best possible experience.

    • We only accept cash or E-transfer so please be prepared for the payment.
