policies

When you book with one of our artists, you’re agreeing to the policies outlined below. They exist to protect our artists, our clients, and the quality of the work while ensuring every experience in the studio feels thoughtful and professional.

Please take a moment to read our policies before your appointment.

pricing

All tattoos begin at a $120 minimum + GST. This covers preparation, sanitized equipment, and custom design development.

Final pricing depends on the size, detail, placement, and time required, as well as the artist you choose. For an accurate quote, we recommend booking a consultation so we can review your idea in detail.

deposits

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment date. Deposits are applied toward your final session cost.

Please note:
• No appointments are held without a deposit
• Delayed responses may result in forfeited dates

Deposits help:
• Respect artist time
• Support committed bookings
• Cover preliminary design work

Deposit amounts vary based on:
• Project scope and complexity
• The artist selected

All custom design work begins after the deposit is received. This includes concept development, sketching, and placement planning.

deposit transfers

Deposits may be transferred to another client only if:
• No design work has begun
• At least 72 hours’ notice is provided
• The new client’s tattoo is approved by the original artist

Deposits cannot be transferred if the appointment is cancelled entirely.

cancellations & rescheduling

We require 72 hours’ notice for rescheduling or cancellations. Late changes may result in deposit forfeiture. When possible, we kindly ask for 1–2 weeks’ notice.

We understand that life happens. If something unexpected comes up, contact your artist as soon as possible.

Please note:
• Repeated rescheduling may result in deposit forfeiture
• Artists reserve the right to retain deposits after multiple changes
• You will always receive notice before any forfeiture

If you’re feeling unwell, please cancel and reschedule. Tattooing while sick increases the risk of infection, discomfort, and poor healing for you and others.

age requirement

All clients must be 18 years or older with valid government-issued photo ID.
No exceptions are made, including with parental consent.

name tattoo policy

To help protect your future self, we tattoo names only under the following circumstances:
• Immediate family members (parents, siblings, children)
• Lifelong pets

We do not tattoo:
• Partner or spouse names
• Celebrity names
• Friend names

This policy is firm and non-negotiable.

neck, face & hand tattoos

High-visibility placements require additional consideration and consultation. Approval is at the artist’s discretion, and certain designs or placements may be declined.

These decisions are made thoughtfully, with long-term impact, visibility, and professional considerations in mind.

studio etiquette

To maintain a calm, focused environment, we ask that clients attend their appointment solo. This allows for better concentration, privacy, and overall experience. If you require special accommodations, please reach out in advance so we can discuss options.

Our studio is a shared creative space. We expect kindness and respect toward every artist, client, and guest.

Zero Tolerance Policy

We do not tolerate:
• Abusive or aggressive language
• Discrimination of any kind
• Threatening or disruptive behaviour

As a private studio, we reserve the right to respectfully decline service at any time, including but not limited to:
• Safety concerns
• Inappropriate behaviour
• Designs that conflict with our artistic standards
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Certain health or medical considerations, including active radiation or chemotherapy

This discretion is never exercised lightly. Our priority is maintaining a safe, respectful environment for everyone.
