ABOUT VANESSA

Vanessa, aka Immy, is an apprentice tattoo artist from Calgary with deep love and respect for art. She refound her creative purpose, giving herself to a life of being an artist and bringing the visions in her mind to life through tattooing.

Currently apprenticing at 9 Element Tattoos under Jim Tran, Vanessa specializes in anime-inspired tattoos, fine line tattoo art, and abstract designs. She seeks to grow with each piece that she creates, balancing artistic exploration with personal storytelling.

Each tattoo is made with thoughtfulness, intent, and respect; she believes that tattooing can be one of the most powerful means of connecting people through art.
